Beyond the Sledgehammer:
The A-Team Standard for Residential Property Transformation

Starting a remodel is about more than just construction; it’s the first step in a life transformation. A-Team Demolition and Land Clearing distinguishes itself from “smash and dash” contractors by viewing demolition as a respectful act of creation. With over 20 years of experience and a consistent 5-star reputation, their mission goes beyond the sledgehammer to focus on the emotional and physical evolution of a home, ensuring every project is treated as the foundation for a client’s future.

The company operates under the “A-Team Standard,” a set of core values that includes integrity, transparent pricing, and seamless teamwork with architects and builders. While many competitors leave behind hazardous debris or cause collateral damage, the A-Team utilizes surgical precision and leaves every site “broom-clean.” Their approach is designed to turn a chaotic milestone into an exciting one, utilizing high-energy positivity and the latest industry technology to ensure safety and efficiency.

Specializing in the “homeowner experience,” the A-Team prides itself on being the best guests on your property by minimizing dust, managing noise, and respecting neighbors. Whether it’s a focused interior gut or a massive land-clearing project that reveals a property’s “blank canvas” potential, they provide a premium service that values the homeowner’s vision. Choosing the A-Team means opting for an elite partner dedicated to clearing the path for a better life, not just knocking down walls.

Residential Demolition Questions and Answers (FAQs)

We specialize in residential (houses, garages, sheds), commercial (office interiors, retail strip-outs), and dustless demolition. Whether you need a full structure removed or just a selective interior “soft demo,” we’ve got you covered.

No. We do not handle, transport, or mitigate hazardous materials including asbestos, lead-based paint, or contaminated soil. If your site requires remediation, this must be completed and cleared by a certified specialist before our team begins work.

Dustless demolition utilizes specialized high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) vacuum systems and containment barriers to capture debris at the source. This is ideal for indoor renovations or commercial spaces where keeping the surrounding environment clean is a priority.

Most structural demolitions require a permit from your local municipality. While the property owner is ultimately responsible, we can certainly guide you through the application process or coordinate with local officials to ensure everything is “by the book.”

We believe in responsible disposal. After the demo, we haul away all debris to licensed recycling centers or landfills. We make every effort to sort materials like metal, wood, and concrete to keep as much out of the landfill as possible.

Absolutely. We often perform interior-only demolition where we strip a space down to the studs or subfloor while leaving the structural integrity and “to-stay” features perfectly intact.

Yes. We are fully licensed and carry comprehensive liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We’re happy to provide proof of insurance upon request to give you peace of mind before we break ground.

Pricing depends on the square footage, the type of materials (concrete vs. wood frame), and the complexity of the site access. We provide free, transparent estimates after a brief site visit or review of your project photos.

Small residential projects (like a shed or kitchen gut) usually take 1–2 days. Larger commercial or full-structure projects can take anywhere from a few days to a week. We’ll provide a specific timeline with your quote.

The most important step is ensuring all utilities (water, gas, electricity, and sewer) are professionally disconnected and capped. You should also remove any personal items or fixtures you wish to keep before our crew arrives.
